DAYS
OF THE CHILDREN
Universal Children's Day takes place on
November 20 annually. First proclaimed by the United Nations
General Assembly in 1954, it was established to encourage
all countries to institute a day, firstly to promote mutual
exchange and understanding among children and secondly to
initiate action to benefit and promote the welfare of the
world's children. It was also chosen as the day to celebrate
childhood.
In Indonesia, the National Children Day falls on 23 July
every year. It is the day where schools, non government
organization, and public places hold an event dedicated
to the interest of children like painting competition exhibition,
children parade and performances, children books story telling,
children book competition, and many more.
Children world is a world full of fantasy, curiosity, dream
and hope. It is a world where colors and chocolate collide
into a statement of fun and laughter. With an adequate portion
of knowledge and guidance from the surrounding environment,
they will grow up knowing the world is a welcoming and safe
place. This year, take your children to newly renovated
Wolly Kids Club & Games Centre, let them have fun and
explore the world in an educative way. In addition, on 23
July 2010 is Kids Eat Free Day so children aged 0-12 years
old can eat for free when their parents join theme dinner
buffet at Padma Resort Bali at Legian, please call extension
